By using the Stayrent app or website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Stayrent.

1. What Stayrent is

Stayrent is an online platform that connects people looking for rooms, flats, PGs and hotels with property owners. Stayrent is not a broker, agent or party to any rent agreement or booking. Any deal is directly between the tenant and the owner.

2. Your account

• You must be 18 years or older.
• You log in with your own mobile number. Keep your phone and OTPs safe and never share them.
• You are responsible for everything done from your account.

3. Rules for owners

• List only properties you own or are authorised to rent out.
• Use real, recent photos of the actual property. No misleading, copied or inappropriate photos.
• Give correct price, deposit and details, and mark the property as Rented once it is taken.
• Listings are visible only after review by our team.

4. Things not allowed

• Fake or duplicate listings, fraud, or asking for money before a visit under false promises.
• Abusive, hateful, sexual or illegal content in listings, photos, chats or reviews.
• Spam, links to other sites in reviews, or trying to hack or misuse Stayrent.
• Discrimination that is against the law.

5. What we may do

To keep Stayrent safe, we may review, edit, hide or remove listings, photos and reviews, send warnings, and block or delete accounts that break these terms, with or without prior notice.

6. Safety

Always visit a property before paying any advance, get a written rent agreement, and keep proof of payments. A "Verified" badge means we checked a document; it is not a guarantee about the property or the person. Report anything suspicious from the property page.

7. Fees

Searching and listing on Stayrent is currently free. If we add paid features in future, prices will be shown clearly before you pay.

8. Limitation of liability

Stayrent is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, Stayrent is not responsible for any loss arising from deals, payments, disputes or meetings between users, or from information posted by users.

9. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above will change. These terms are governed by the laws of India.
